Sunway Lagoon – Malaysia
Sunway Lagoon is a theme park in Malaysia owned by Sunway Group.
The Sunway Lagoon is an amusement park and water park located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The park opened on April 29, 1993 and tries to be a Water park, Theme Park, an Adventure Park, an Horror park and Zoo all in one. However, this resort only excels on his water park side (and not quite at a word class level). In fact the water park has a gigantic pool and a gigantic suspension bridge. The park’s pool is the world’s largest wave pool, measuring impressive 139,800 square feet (13,000 square meters). Apart from that in the other sections Sunway Lagoon has a mini zoo( with some magnificent Bengal tigers) and a long rope bridge going across the water-park ( about 100 metres or more…not for the faint-hearted as its about 80-100 ft drop!). In 2013 the park oped Vuvuzela, the world’s largest water ride and a new 5D cinema.
The park has a no outside food & drinks policy and have good locker service where you can save your stuff. In addition for water based games, you have rent the items separate. There is a counter at the entrance for bag inspection and all the eatables will be confiscated so make sure you don’t bring in your own snacks.
